Kruger 5 Safaris is a family owned and run safari operation.
Born of our deep love of nature and the wild magic Kruger Park, our family longed to make the ultimate wildlife destination available to other nature-lovers from around the world. Dad William, and son Divan are professional, knowledgeable guides who have completed field guide and first aid training as required by FGASA (Field Guide Association of South Africa). Their knowledge and extensive experience, combined with their passion for the wild, make our guest experiences in the Kruger exciting, informative, and loads of fun.
Mom Gerda, brings strong admin and people skills to the team, and daughter Delana, brings away-guests their fix of virtual safaris via social media – and let’s face it, those online photos and videos sustain Kruger-holics between our Kruger visits! Our strong family-orientated team is all about personal service, attention to detail. In short – we care about YOU, and your safari experience! So, let’s go on safari!

Fast-forward almost a century later, and the Kruger is a bona fide global favorite which attracts well in excess of a million tourists per annum. Home to the legendary Big 5, it is also famous for its diverse biomes and eco-systems, as well as its history. It is an important wildlife research and training destination that successfully combines tourism and conservation.
But more than all this, it is simply one of the most magic places you could every hope to go. It is a sensory experience of sunshine, scents, sounds, sights and emotions, with a smorgasbord of fauna and flora. Many people describe it as one bordering on spiritual – to be in the heart of the wild and in the presence of the wild inhabitants as they roam free in their natural habitats. It’s simply something everyone should experience at least once in a lifetime, but that many discover, soon becomes an addiction…
