Giraffe Fun Facts
Giraffes have the highest blood pressure of any living animal!
They have the same number of neck vertebrae as humans (7), and they only need between 5 and 25 minutes of sleep in a 24 hour cycle.

Zebras are amazing, quirky animals that cannot be domesticated. Their stripes are believed to be for as much for cooling as camouflage.
A family of zebras is called a dazzle, and they can live for around 20 years in the wild.

Lilac Breasted Rollers are one of the world’s most colorful birds, and tallest birds of their species. They are not dimorphic (meaning the males and females look the same), and they are aggressive hunters with a carnivorous diet. They are Kenya’ national bird and always a happy sighting in the Kruger.
Martial Eagle Fun Facts
Africa’s largest eagle, is also renowned for its speed! These amazing eagles are so powerful that they are said to be able to break a man’s arm with their talons. With a life expectancy of around 12-14 years in the wild and a very slow reproduction rate, they are sadly, becoming endangered.
